Stephanie Morris single out now

Stephanie Morris was a Texas-born, Chicago-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist. In 2006, I asked her to record a pair of demos for possible inclusion in an announced Neil Young covers project; the record label eventually passed, and the demos were never completed. Stephanie passed away in 2009, but I thought the demos – which had been recorded to capture the best performance possible – were strong enough to complete. With the addition of a string arrangement from the brilliant Wim Oudijk (who also sadly died in 2016), the first of two singles is here at last, with the second to (hopefully) follow early next year.

This is a digital-only release. Get yours now from iTunes, Apple Music, Bandcamp, or other digital content providers.
